Terms of Service
Last updated: 3 August 2026
These terms govern your use of Lantera, operated by Lantera LLC ("Lantera", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you may bind that company.
The service
Lantera examines how AI assistants answer buying questions in your category, identifies gaps, drafts changes for your approval, publishes approved changes to connected accounts, and reports on what changed. What the service does evolves; we may add, change or withdraw features.
Your account
Keep your credentials secure and tell us promptly of any unauthorised use. You are responsible for activity under your account and for everything your team approves through it.
Your content and your approval
You keep ownership of your brand materials, your site content and anything published through your connected accounts. You grant us the permissions we need to operate the service for you: to read the content you point us at, to draft changes, and to publish exactly what you approve.
Nothing is published without your approval. Drafts are suggestions. You are responsible for reviewing what you approve, including its accuracy and its compliance with the rules of any site it is posted to, such as subreddit rules or a community's self-promotion policy.
Connected accounts
You may connect third-party accounts such as Shopify, Reddit or Quora. You must have the right to connect them. We act within the scopes you grant and you can disconnect at any time. Those services have their own terms, and we are not responsible for their acts or availability.
Acceptable use
Do not use Lantera to publish unlawful, deceptive or infringing material, to impersonate anyone, to evade a platform's rules, or to interfere with the service or its other users.
Plans and payment
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance at the price shown when you subscribe. Plans are flat rate rather than credit based. You may cancel at any time and your plan runs to the end of the paid period. Founding-tier access is free, invite only and time limited; the invitation states its terms.
Results and measurement
AI assistants give different answers to the same question at different times, and their behaviour changes without notice. We measure through the engines' own APIs, sample repeatedly rather than relying on a single answer, and label results accordingly. We do not guarantee any particular ranking, citation, traffic or revenue outcome. Attribution figures are lower bounds, not exact counts.
Aggregated data
We use anonymised, aggregated information about which kinds of changes tend to work to improve the service and to publish category-level benchmarks. This never includes your content, your prompts or anything identifying your brand. You can opt out in your settings.
Availability, liability and termination
The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties, and our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. Neither of us is liable for indirect or consequential loss.
You may stop using Lantera at any time. We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms or non-payment. You can export your data before you leave, and we will delete it on request as described in the privacy policy.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; material changes will be notified in the product or by email before they take effect. Questions go to nadim@lantera.io , or by post to 455 Market St Ste 1940 PMB 438172 San Francisco, California 94105-2448 US.
